We'll miss the 5 or 6 seniors but we'll have talent replacing them that may be better in the near future. We don't have any Paige Petty's coming in next fall but we have a lot of high 3-star players who may eventually play like 4-star players under John Sung. I expect noticeable improvement in players like Goodwin, Lingo, Nelson, Lohrer, and Tilley.

It's true about draw controls. UNC dominated us and that's why they beat us easily in the regular season and dominated us in the 2nd half last night. Winning the draw control battle is a major part of being successful. UNC simply had more scoring chances. That's why UNC is ranked #3 and Tech is ranked #21. Crooks, Petty, and Ricci will be juniors next season, so I expect our draw controls to improve. Turnovers hurt us too. I think our turnover numbers will decrease next season just based on another year of experience. The lazy pass that lead to UNC's breakaway goal was a mental mistake. John Sung needs to make the team mentally and physically tougher next season. The team looks physically tough already but mental part of the game needs improvement. Still etched in my mind from the UVA game, is the pass to no one that lead to a lost possession. Good teams don't do that. Maybe it was inexperience?
